Tim von Toerne is co-founder and part of the executive team of cellity AG. Based in Hamburg (Germany), cellity (www.cellity.com) develops an intelligent least cost router for mobile phones. The service is due to launch later this year.

In his last position he was country manager for Skype (www.skype.com), the global communications company, for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Before that he was managing director of an IT-services firm in Hamburg where he was responsible for the development and the operations of highly secure software for Internet entertainment. Prior to that he was managing director and co-founder of a software development company which translated industrial business processes into the Internet. He started his career at a strategy consulting firm in Barcelona helping mobile communications companies in strategy, marketing and product aspects.

Tim studied business administration at the University of Bamberg and later pursued an executive MBA program at the Kellogg School of Management and WHU Koblenz.
