Marc Samwer is the former Co-Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Jamba!/Jamster, the leading global online retailer for wireless entertainment products such as music, game and video downloads. He founded Jamba! with his two Brothers Oliver and Alexander in August 2000. Jamba! was acquired by VeriSign Inc. in June 2004. Before Jamba!, Marc had founded the leading German online auction company Alando in February 1999. After the acquisition of Alando by eBay Inc. in June 1999, Alando became eBay Germany. Marc continued as Managing Director Europe for eBay GmbH before he moved on to start Jamba!. Marc holds a Master in Laws and worked in France, Spain and the U.S. before. Since 2003, he is a distinguished Eisenhower Fellow (Multi Nation Program).
