Dr. Tan is President & CEO of Next Generation Network Associates, co- organizer of the Alpha Summit Europe conference. The conference brings over 300 technopreneurs, corporations and investors annually from all over the world to create new opportunities for the world market.

Dr. Tan pioneered the design and provision of touch feedback across computer networks for Immersion Corporation (NASD: IMMR), a Stanford University spin-out and holds 6 patents in the design and provision of tactile feedback (touch) across computer networks. He later pioneered the popular e-Business Process Foundry class for Stanford's Graduate School of Business.

More recently, he was an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where he contributed to US technology- transfer policies. The Kauffman Foundation is the largest private foundation dedicated to Entrepreneurship with over US$2 Billion in assets.

Dr. Tan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Bristol (UK), and a Masters and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.

He is currently working in stealth mode on his next venture targeting the Asian market with an international team.
