Malte Köllner is partner of the Triangle Venture Capital Group, a leading German early stage high-tech venture capital fund, where he is responsible for all intellectual property matters, including intellectual property due diligence. He is handling all intellectual property issues of the portfolio companies. He regularly advises the European Venture Capital Association (EVCA) in IP related questions.

 

Malte Köllner is German and European patent attorney. He is partner in a patent attorneys law firm in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He has authored and co-authored numerous publications on intellectual property and venture capital. He is editor in chief of the scientific journal of the German chamber of patent attorneys, one of the two leading journals on patent law in German speaking countries. Malte Köllner holds a law degree and a PhD in physics.
