Mr. Yoav Chelouche is a Managing Partner of Aviv Venture Capital since 2001. He brings to Aviv twenty years of experience in management, initiation and investments in the global high-tech arena.
Prior to Aviv Mr. Chelouche served as President & CEO of Scitex corp. (NASDAQ: SCIX) a world leader in digital imaging and printing systems ($700M revenues, 4,000 employees). During his tenure as CEO, Mr. Chelouche led the turnaround of the company’s pre-press activities ($450 million) back to growth and profitability. He managed the acquisition, strategy, and growth of the company’s Digital Printing business from zero to$250 million revenues.
In the course of his 15 years in Scitex Yoav held several management positions including VP Strategy and Business Development, VP Marketing, VP Finance – Europe. He developed in-house technology incubation and in-house Venture activities and created International Joint Ventures – the JV in Japan was the first between Japanese and Israeli companies.
Currently Mr. Chelouche is a member of the Boards of Columbus, Actona Inc. (until exit on August 2004), MGVS Ltd., BeinSync Ltd, and Deep Breeze.
Mr. Chelouche is the Chairman of "Ta'asiyeda", A not-for-profit organization which promotes leadership and team skill in school children.
Yoav holds MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France, and BA in Economics and Statistics from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
