Hubert Besner is a senior partner in the Corporate Department in the Munich office of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP. He joined the firm in 2001. Dr. Besner focuses his practice on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions.
Dr. Besner advises German, U.S. and international clients in the technology, life sciences, media and telecommunications industries on corporate and securities matters.
Dr. Besner has represented public and private companies, investment banks and venture capital firms in a variety of matters, both in Germany and overseas, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings (including dual listings) and venture capital financings.
Dr. Besner received his doctorate in law, magna cum laude, from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. He received his law degree from the University of Munich Law School.
Dr. Besner is admitted to the Munich Bar.
