Patrick Burtis is a Kauffman Fellow with Amadeus Capital Partners in London, where he focuses on Cleantech investments, and a Research Fellow at Imperial College of London, where he works primarily with the Energy Futures Lab. Prior to joining Amadeus, Pat was for 7 years an independent management consultant in the Cleantech, Life Sciences, and Materials Science fields. Concurrently, from 2003-2004 Pat served as VP of Finance and Operations for H2Onsite, a California-based hydrogen generation startup.
Pat began his career at Bain & Co., where he advised clients in the financial servcies, health care, PCs, steel, paper, flooring, telecommunications, and automotive industries. He has also served as a Practice Area Fellow in McKinsey & Co.'s Electric Power & Natural Gas group. Pat holds a BA from Dartmouth College (USA) and a Masters of Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, with a focus on energy and climate change.
