Mr Nigel Doughty is Chief Executive Officer of Doughty Hanson, one of Europe’s largest venture capital groups. Together with Richard Hanson, he founded Doughty Hanson and Co in 1984. The company manages €9bn of fund commitments and has offices across Europe and in the US.
In addition to its traditional private equity activity, Doughty Hanson also manages Europe’s largest opportunity real estate fund and a Technology Venture fund. Mr Doughty is Chairman of the Investment Committee of all three investment activities.
Mr Doughty is a Member of the World Economic Forum in Davos, and a recipient of the Cranfield School of Management Distinguished Alumnus Award in addition to other academic awards.
