Alexander Brühl is a Senior Partner in the communications sector, and joined Atlas Venture in 1998. He is an expert in semiconductors and wireless, data warehousing and security. Prior to joining Atlas Venture, Alexander served as Director, Corporate Marketing for R&O Software-Technik GmbH, a leading German enterprise repository vendor with a strong presence in the US. After R&O was acquired by Viasoft Inc. in 1996, Alexander served as Director, Corporate Strategies. Previously, Alexander was Founder and Managing Director of Solution Analysis Group, a German consulting and implementation firm for information management solutions.
Alexander sat on the Board of Systemonic prior to the company’s acquisition by Royal Philips Electronics in 2003.
Alexander holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University Munich.
