Dr. Torsten G. Kreindl joined Grazia Equity as a partner in 2005. He studied Industrial Engineering/Technical Chemistry at Johannes Kepler University Linz in Austria, and started his career in the pharmaceutical industry. He joined W.L. Gore & Associates, Inc. in 1989 where he successfully built a new high-tech business unit and was instrumental in its international expansion. At Booz.Allen & Hamilton, Inc. he was a member of the German management team and led large consulting engagements for international IT, communications and media industry clients. In 1996 he became the head of Deutsche Telekom AG´s broadband cable business, which he turned around within 3 years and grew to a customer base of more than 19 million homes. After the business´ spin-off, he built MSG Media Services as its CEO which was acquired by private equity investors. From 1999 to 2005, Torsten was a partner in an international VC fund and made numerous investments mostly in Silicon Valley companies.
Torsten Kreindl has been a member of Swisscom AG´s board of directors since 2003, and is also the chairman of its finance committee.
