Philippe Claude is a Senior Partner in the technology sector, and joined Atlas Venture in 1993 as the founding General Partner in France. He specializes in software and services technology.
Before joining Atlas Venture, Philippe had eight years of international venture experience at Partech International in the US and Europe, most recently as Managing General Partner of its Paris office. Philippe started his career at Andersen Consulting and was later a founder and senior executive of several European software companies, including Agis Systems and Softeurop.
Philippe was a seed investor in Business Objects (NASDAQ: BOBJ), the first French software company to complete an initial public offering on the NASDAQ.
Philippe has an MBA from Oregon State University and degrees in economics and engineering from the University of Brussels Solvay School.
