Dr. Otto Wiesheu is the Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology.
After having received a law degree and following doctorate at the University of Munich, Dr. Otto Wiesheu started his political career in 1974 by being elected a member of the Bavarian Parliament for the CSU.
Prior to becoming Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs, Transport, Infrastructure and Technology, Dr. Otto Wiesheu was State Secretary in the Bavarian Ministry of Education, Cultural Affairs, Sciences and the Arts, having previously presided over a series of foundations and CSU-organizations.
