Dr. Brown joined Scottish Enterprise in January 2000 after having spent 18 years working in the United States. As Director of Competitive Business, she has responsibility for the development of operational strategy to support the growth and creation of technology based companies in Scotland.
Her remit includes the establishment of Scotland’s Intermediary Technology Institutes as well as numerous commercialisation activities to support the exploitation of Scottish R&D, focusing on both the research institution and company aspects.
